Chandon Retail Displays

Chandon renew their image, we renew their custom displays.

As part of their brand image renewal, Chandon simplified their color palette, updated their logo to a square ISO format, and commissioned a full campaign refresh. Their art director, Karina Marra (who also directs for Moët), typically favors proposals deeply rooted in the brand's iconic elaborated bottle labels, characterized by minimalism and precise detailing. The brand has a significant presence in several major hypermarkets and supermarkets across Buenos Aires.

These locally designed, tailor-made displays were built with premium materials for the industry. A key design requirement was to preserve at all costs the precise angled line separating the gold section from the main white background. However, the primary functional need was for the display to hold approximately 150 bottles and twelve six-pack cava boxes to justify its cost. While it had other standard design requests, the final proposal exceeded all criteria.

The revisions between the initial proposal and the final production design were oriented toward maximizing load capacity for high-season demand. This adjustment compromised the header and some graphic containers to accommodate a much larger top shelf. Ultimately, the original multi-brand endcap design ended up looking quite similar to the freestanding display unit.
