In 2009, our team at Estudio Auto took part in Argentina's first conceptual automotive design competition. The brief was unequivocal: to envision the "Citroën driving experience" thirty years into the future.

Driven by our own passion, we envisioned a future user craving emotional engagement. Our solution centered on a highly compact tandem cockpit, prioritizing a sense of security and a deep, immersive connection between the occupants and the vehicle. Drawing inspiration from organic forms, we aimed to create a symbiotic relationship between the passengers and their machine. This led us to replace the traditional steering wheel with independent control units we named "straps" (correas).

The project was ultimately recognized with a special mention from the jury. While our vision looked ahead thirty years, the broader industry, twenty-six years later, continues its definitive shift toward full autonomous drive.
